MDM Adjusting Services is an independent appraisal and adjusting firm serving insurance carriers, appraisal management organizations, and third-party administrators nationwide. We handle property disputes across every major peril type — fire, water, wind, hail, and specialty losses — from straightforward residential claims through complex commercial and large-loss situations.
Our team brings deep field experience to every file. Our principal, Michael Durham, AIC, built his career on the CME trading floor before spending over a decade inspecting losses across residential and commercial properties, handling daily and catastrophic claims, and coordinating engineers, consultants, and subject matter experts on complex losses. That hands-on background — combined with rigorous analytical discipline — is the foundation of every position we write.
